CTeL has published extensively on areas of concern to the health care and telehealth fields, on the topics of licensure, reimbursement, legislation, and a variety of other public policy issues.
CTeL regularly speaks to audiences throughout the United States about telehealth issues, including recent presentations to the Telehealth Leadership Conference, Federal Joint Working Group on Telemedicine, the American Telemedicine Association, Loyola University, the Utah Telehealth Commission, and the Advanced Initiatives in Medical Simulation. For speaker requests, please contact CTeL at info@ctel.org.
CTeL educates policy makers and those interested in telehealth policy about the legal and regulatory issues facing telehealth, including through its education efforts during the Telehealth Leadership Conference, the only national public policy conference dedicated solely to telehealth issues, where CTeL members and participants visit with Members of Congress and their staff, to discuss telehealth-related issues, highlighting, for example, improving access to health care and achieving cost savings.
