Issue Background
CTeL is convening a cross-sector roundtable on July 15, 2026, to bring together digital health leaders, privacy experts, and policymakers for a collaborative discussion on cybersecurity and patient privacy in virtual care environments. This dialogue will examine how the introduction of AI is reshaping security risks, compliance obligations, and policy priorities across the health care ecosystem.

This roundtable will include:

  • Expert perspectives on emerging privacy and cybersecurity risks associated with AI-enabled virtual care tools;

  • Discussion on challenges health care organizations and developers face in building secure, compliant, and resilient systems; and,

  • Collaborative dialogue on policy priorities to support safe, secure, and responsible deployment of health AI.


Please note that in-person seating is limited to 20 attendees and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. A virtual participation option is available for those unable to attend in person.
